T The Arab Architects Awards is an international competition that highlights the best projects designed and executed by Arab architects around the world, over the past 8 years. The Award was initiated jointly by the Association of Arab Architects and the Order of Engineers & Architects in Lebanon in 2018.The first edition will be held in Beirut in October 2018, and thereafter in a different Arab country, every two years.

The event will take place over three days at the Seaside Exhibition Center in Beirut, Lebanon, on October 25-26-27, 2018; and will feature a presentation of 35 projects, distributed over 9 different categories, before a jury of Arab and International architects and academics.

This event will provide a platform for the exchange of ideas, and for the recognition of one major architectural figure in the Arab world. In addition, this event will provide a platform to feature a selection of architecture projects from the Schools of Architecture in the host country. The event will also host a number of exhibitors dealing with architecture, architectural products, construction industry, new technologies, and real estate development.

The AAA Awards will take place at the Seaside Arena, one of the largest multi-purpose convention centers of its kind in the region. Ideally located on the waterfront of downtown Beirut , it consists of 82,000 square meters of multi-functional areas, equipped at international standards. The venue will accommodate the presentation of the competing projects, an exhibition of architecture projects, an exhibition on the work of the late architect Assem Salam, as well as an exhibition of architectural and engineering products, services, and companies.
